Our Roots
Our roots come from generations of service within the Morriese and Beltran family line, whose commitment to feeding the community, supporting families, mentoring youth, and serving with love inspires everything we do today.
The foundation was built on the values demonstrated by:
William Alexander Morriese
U.S. Navy Veteran, mentor, teacher, and community leader who dedicated his life to uplifting others through education and service.
Rudolph "Rudy" Morriese
U.S. Marine Veteran, protector, and family leader whose strength and integrity set an example for future generations.
Lillian Beltran
Community mother and provider who fed all who came to her door, embodying unconditional generosity and care.
Anna Marie "Sunshine" Morriese
Advocate, foster parent, and crisis support worker dedicated to helping families in their most vulnerable moments.
Their legacy shaped families and neighborhoods through service, generosity, and strength. Sunshine Family Ministries continues that legacy through community programs that support, feed, clothe, and uplift families.
